The Femtaur is a transparent overdrive pedal inspired by the iconic Klon Centaur, designed to deliver the same responsive, mid-pushed drive character without the need to hunt down — or pay thousands for — an original unit. Built for players who want legendary tone with modern reliability, the Femtaur stays true to the circuit while remaining accessible and pedalboard-friendly.
At its core, the Femtaur closely follows the original Centaur design, using high-quality components and a carefully tuned circuit to preserve the touch sensitivity, clarity, and dynamic response that made the original famous. Clean tones stay articulate, while pushed settings add harmonic richness and natural breakup without masking your guitar’s character.
An onboard TC1044SCPA charge-pump IC increases the internal voltage to 18V DC, providing increased headroom, improved note definition, and a more amp-like feel under the fingers. This allows the Femtaur to function equally well as a clean boost, edge-of-breakup drive, or transparent tone enhancer.
The result is a faithful Klon-style overdrive that delivers the classic sound and feel players love — without inflated vintage prices or fragile, hard-to-replace components.

The Femtaur is housed in a rugged 1590BB2 enclosure (125mm × 95mm × 63mm) with a durable powder-coated finish and UV-printed graphics. Built for touring and everyday use, it’s designed to hold up under real-world conditions.
Powered by a standard 9V negative-center power supply, the Femtaur integrates easily into any pedalboard while delivering internally boosted performance.
