Shipping, Warranty and Pricing Policy

Local pickup is available from our store during open hours. We are located close to the train station, on level 1 of 25 Station Street which is on the corner of Caldarra Avenue in Engadine. Please note, there is no lift to get in to our store.

Shipping & Delivery

  • Not all online stock is live to what is available in store for pickup and may be ordered in or sent directly to you from our warehouses.
  • If there are any delays in supply we will contact you within 1 business day of your order being placed to advise and discuss available alternatives.
  • Due to the weird and wonderful sizes and shapes of the products we send, sometimes our website overestimates the shipping fees. If you feel that the freight for your order has been overestimated, please feel free to contact us for a more accurate fee. 

Free shipping for orders over $100

Free Shipping: We currently offer Free Shipping for online orders over $100 on non-bulky items shipped within Australia. This applies to items with an individual gross volumetric shipping weight below 10kg and dimensions no greater than 1m in any direction.

  • Applies to selected items only and limited to customers located in metropolitan areas of Queensland, NSW, ACT, Victoria and South Australia. It does not include any item that is on clearance, bulky or heavy.
  • Free shipping is not offered for items being shipped to Tasmania, Western Australia, Northern Territory, Far North Queensland or regional and remote locations throughout the Australian mainland, as determined by Engadine Music.
  • Price match orders may not qualify for free shipping.
  • Insurance and express post is not included in the free shipping offer. Please contact us for a quote if these services are required.
  • Oversized and bulky items may not qualify for free freight irrespective of delivery location. If your order is affected by this, one of our staff will contact you as soon as possible with the most competitive shipping price we can provide. There is no obligation to accept this quote and a full refund will be issued if you choose to decline the offer and cancel your order.
  • Clearance items do not qualify for free shipping and the sale is final, there is no swaps or returns on these products.

PO Boxes and Parcel Collect can only be used for items that are the sizes serviced by Australia Post (not bulky or heavy). If your ordered item/s fall into this category, we’ll be in contact for a residential or business address.

Please ensure your address is entered correctly when placing an online order. Where you are at fault, there is a re-delivery fee of $50 applicable to be paid prior to your delivery being re-booked.

Most items sent via Australian Post with standard shipping will be delivered within 2-6 working days. Please note, once your order leaves our store, the delivery is out of our control.

For items to be shipped via courier, please provide a business address wherever possible to ensure easier delivery. Please note that couriers are unable to deliver an item to a post office box.

N.B. Free shipping is not offered on items rented via Studio 19. After approval a sales representative will contact you to arrange delivery and payment.

Price Matching Policy

Engadine Music will consider matching a competitor’s price, according to the following conditions:

  • It is the identical product (brand, model and make).
  • The product is in stock at both Engadine Music and within the competitor’s store.
  • A staff member of Engadine Music can verify the competitor’s offered price and availability.
  • The advertised price is based on the current Australian Recommended Retail Price, as determined by the product manufacturer or distributor.

Engadine Music will not honour the competitor’s pricing if:

  • The aforementioned conditions are not met.
  • The competitor’s product is a demonstration model, a factory second, clearance item, second hand or refurbished.
  • The product is offered below our cost price.
  • The product is offered by an unauthorised reseller.
  • The product is offered from an online website that does not have a physical retail store within Australia.
  • The product is offered from a store or supplier with special trading conditions or limitations, including but not limited to businesses under insolvency administration, factory outlets warehouse and clearance centres. Furthermore, products offered on marketplace, online auction and classifieds websites will not be considered for price matching.
  • The product is offered to only to a select group of people and not the general public.
  • The pricing is in error
The agreement to match a competitor’s pricing will only be available for a limited time period as determined by Engadine Music, but typically only on the day it is offered.

Errors and Omissions

While we do our best to keep pricing up to date, prices are subject to change at any time and Engadine Music reserves the right to price changing within reason in the event of a supplier RRP increase or old product listing.


Engadine Music Education Centre is a proud retailer that remains committed to providing the highest level of service to our valued customers. From time to time however, an item may not perform to the expectation of the customer and will be subject to a claim for warranty as laid out under Australian Consumer Law Regulation 90.

Warranty Claims:

Should the purchased item not meet your expectations or fail under normal use, you may be entitled to make a claim under the manufacturer’s warranty. Should you wish to make a claim, please follow this procedure:

Goods being returned shall be despatched to:

Engadine Music Education Centre will not be liable for goods damaged in transit during the return process

If an item is returned under warranty and the manufacturer or their nominated agent deems the damage not to be covered by the warranty, the customer will be contacted and arrangements made for the return or disposal of the item at the customers expense. Where a the outcome is disputed, a mediation process will commence as outlined under the NSW office of fair trading.
