The Bach Classic 5GS Trombone Mouthpiece (Large Shank) has a medium deep cup, with a medium wide, semi-flat rim shape. It has a shallower G-style cup with a smaller throat and backbore than a 5G, and produces easy high register with a slightly brighter sound.

The Bach Classic 5GS Trombone Mouthpiece (Small Shank) has a medium depth cup with a medium wide, semi flat rim shape. It is the same as a No. 5 but with larger "G" throat and #420 backbore. It is for players with good, natural embouchures, and produces a full, mellow, sonorous tone.
