The Bach Classic 5G Trombone Mouthpiece (Large Shank) has a deep cup, with a medium wide, semi-flat rim shape. It has the same rim shape and diameter as No. 5 small shank tenor trombone mouthpiece, with similar playing characteristics to a No. 4G with a slightly smaller cup diameter.

The Bach Classic 5G Trombone Mouthpiece (Small Shank) has a deep cup with a medium wide, semi-flat rim shape. It is the same as a No. 5 model but with a .276" throat and #429 backbore. It is for players with good, natural embouchures, and produces a full, mellow, sonorous tone.
