Filled with energy and suspense from the opening six notes played by the low strings and through to the final measure, Allegro Agitato is rhythmically charged with dramatic phrasing and sweeping dynamics. Although the music is quite expressive, it often feels turbulent and a sense of unrest creeps in as the music builds to climactic moments. (4:46)
