Timber Tones are CNC Milled from the very best quality timber then hand sanded and hand polished to give them their amazing shine and smoothness. Timber Tones unique shape is roughly based upon the classic 351 design, however they are 2.4mm thick where you hold them, chamfering down to 0.7mm at the playing tip.

MATERIAL:  Almondwood
INSTRUMENT:  We recommend Almond Wood for Acoustic Guitar & Archtop Jazz Guitar.
TONE:  Almond Wood is a medium soft timber which will add a good level of warmth to the tone of most Acoustic Guitars.

MATERIAL:  Ironwood
INSTRUMENT:  We recommend Ironwood for Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar & Archtop Jazz Guitar.
TONE:  Ironwood is a very close-grained timber that polishes to a smooth finish, this ensures that you get a clean crisp sound. The hardness ensures that it can withstand the rigors of electric guitar playing. If used on an acoustic guitar it will dramatically brighten the sound.

TONE:  We recommend this timber primarily for Electric Guitar where it will give a clean crisp tone.

---

MATERIAL:  Purple Heart
INSTRUMENT:  We recommend Purple Heart for Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar & Archtop Jazz Guitar.
TONE:  Purple heart is on the cusp between an electric guitar and acoustic guitar use. Warm mellow tones can be achieved on an electric guitar however the relative hardness of Purple Heart is likely to slightly brighten the tones of most acoustic guitars.

MATERIAL:  Rose Apple
INSTRUMENT:  We recommend Rose Apple for Acoustic Guitar & Archtop Jazz Guitar.
TONE:  Rose Apple is a medium soft timber which will add a good level of warmth to the tone of most Acoustic Guitars.

MATERIAL:  Burma Padauk
INSTRUMENT:  We recommend Burma Padauk for Acoustic Guitar & Archtop Jazz Guitar.
TONE:  Burma Padauk is extraordinary in that it is relatively hard, unlike its Indian Padauk cousin. It is close grained and polishes very well meaning that it will add clean crisp and bright tones to most Acoustic Guitars.

---

MATERIAL:  Coconut Palm
INSTRUMENT:  We recommend Coconut Palm for Acoustic Guitar.
TONE:  Due to the relative softness of Coconut Palm warm mellow tones can be achieved on most acoustic guitars.

---

MATERIAL:  Cobra's Saffron
INSTRUMENT:  We recommend Cobra's Saffron for Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar & Archtop Jazz Guitar.
TONE:  Cobra's Saffron is a medium hardness timber, which is relatively frequency neutral. Although it will add some depth to the tone of most acoustic guitars, it will do so without dramatically altering the frequency of the tone.

---

MATERIAL:  Indian Chestnut
INSTRUMENT:  We recommend Indian Chestnut for Electric Guitar & Archtop Jazz Guitar.
TONE:  Indian Chestnut is a relatively open-grained timber that polishes to a smooth finish. The hardness ensures that it can withstand the rigors of electric guitar playing whilst it has slightly more warmth to the tone than Ebony.

---

MATERIAL:  Lignum Vitae
INSTRUMENT:  We recommend Lignum Vitae for Electric Guitar & Archtop Jazz Guitar.
