Composer Garrett Hoffman used his fascination with color symbolism to write Rainbow Variations. An original theme is set in six variations inspired by the colors of the visible spectrum: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Violet. A colorful finale of triumphant brass chords brings the music to a rousing finish.
