Eve Fernando

Eve has been playing the piano for the past 14 years. She has 2 years experience in teaching music theory and performance to individual students as well as small groups of young students. 

Eve has a great passion for helping students to discover their own musical interests and guiding them as they explore music. Eve can offer valuable insights into theory and musicology, greatly enhancing a student's understanding and appreciation of the music that they play. She says, "I always aim to foster in students a genuine interest in and enjoyment of music that is similar to my own." Eve is able to teach a variety of musical styles and genres. She particularly enjoys teaching Classical and Romantic solo piano. 

Eve has performed as both a soloist and accompanist at many concerts, eisteddfods, school ceremonies and religious services.

Qualifications:

  • AMEB Grade 7 Piano (Honours)
  • AMEB Grade 3 Music Theory (High Distinction). 
  • AMEB Grade 4 Saxophone (Honours)

Eve teaches on Saturday morning at Engadine Music.
