COVID-19 Trading Update

In the midst of the gloom & doom, now is the perfect time for you or your family members to take up or get back to enjoying the creativity that playing a musical instrument offers.

Currently Engadine Music is still open for business as usual both in store and through our website including supply and queries. Please note, our trading hours have been slightly reduced and we will now be closing at 5.30pm on Thursdays. Some products are suffering delay by international supply issues, but we hold good stock of most popular items. Needless to say, comprehensive and regular cleaning precautions have been made to ensure the safety of all of our customers, so feel free to call in-store or place a web order. If you have a significant cough, cold or fever and have yet to be tested for COVID-19, or if you have been advised to isolate due to illness or association, please utilize our website and have an online chat with our friendly staff. Our team will be in touch should there be an issue with your purchase.

In order to comply with the increasingly rigid government regulations we have suspended all our in-store lesson services for the remaining weeks of this term while we formalise a remote teaching proposal. This will be in place for the beginning of Term 2 on the assumption that the strict isolation regulations will still be in force. We will forward further information to students via email. We believe Music forms a great part of education and encourage all students to continue to practice. We are working on a plan to move forward with limited disruption to future lessons for term 2.

Following the latest government information, we are suspending our School BandTime programs as of Monday 23rd March, 2020, please click here for more information.

It is with regret that we have made the decision to cancel our BandFest for 2020 and are in the process of contacting those who have registered.

Here is a useful link from the World Health Organisation, explaining how COVID-19 spreads and measures you can take to keep you and your family safe.

We thank you for your patience and understanding in this difficult time for all of us. Music can be a great outlet to help survive these times, so stock up on what you need. Even if it’s just the opportunity to take up ukulele, there’s never been a better time!

Yours musically,
      The team at Engadine Music
