Engadine Music Education Centre is a family owned company established in 1980 with the goal of providing musical goods, services, friendly and helpful advice to teachers and musicians both locally and Australia-wide.

Aim
To make obtaining instruments, accessories and method books for your students easy and accessible so you and your band are ready with everything needed, to start on day one.
Band-Aid is a service to enable school instrumental programs to have the range of instruments needed for an equal and traditional Concert Band, Full Orchestra or Stage Band. Or to enable a successful guitar ensemble or strings program.
Information
Attached is a sample of the form we would provide for you to hand out to your students to take home or to hand out to parents with your band programs information. This can also be provided as a digital attachment if required.
The information on this form will allow parents to make an informed decision on the best way for them to obtain the instrument they have been allocated by you or your band coordinator.
The term rental cost has been created equally so all students can obtain any band instrument allocated to them. This means that even though some instrument purchase prices cost more than others, everyone has the same opportunity to play their allocated instrument as part of your band.
Your Commitment
Engadine music will do all the paperwork, process all rental payments & purchases.
We can even arrange to deliver the goods to your school with each student’s bundle labelled with their name ready for day 1.
All you as the band coordinator need do, is hand out your forms to your students and liaise with us to ensure all your forms collected and returned back to us for processing. This will need to be done by the date specified on the form and agreed to by you and your school, to ensure and enable a smooth delivery of the goods on day one of your instrumental program.
Terms and Conditions
- As the liaison teacher, coordinator or conductor of your program it is up to you to make sure your students receive all paperwork and understand the necessity of returning the paperwork on time to us by the dates agreed. This is imperative to enable items to be ordered, placed aside correctly and then shipped in a timely manner to your school.
- Orders received after the due date will not be included in the shipping and parents will be charged a separate freight charge.
- We will always endeavour to get orders out in a timely manner. However, orders received from parents after the due date are not guaranteed to arrive in time for the first band session.
- It is up to the school coordinator to advise students of maintenance products they may need to purchase. The items they will need to make their instruments work successfully throughout the term. Music stands, Oils, Cork greases, Reeds etc.
- It needs to be stressed to your parents and students that if you do not tick a box on our forms, we will assume the item is not required to be supplied. Reeds will need to be purchased and ticked on our accessories form for reeded instruments, or they will not be supplied.
- A Flat Rate handling fee of $5 will be charged to each student. This will cover the heavy duty bag your goods will arrive in with your student’s name as well as shipping and organisation for you to hand out your student’s instruments and accessories with ease.
- RETURNS: The school is not responsible for returning rental instruments from students. The school must advise all parents and students to contact Engadine Music to organise return of a rental instrument directly back to us. Rent will be charged until the instrument is returned to our store.
