New repertoire for flexible string ensembles from Flying Strings! Perfect for group lessons and junior ensembles.

Flying Strings’ Pick-A-Part scores have been arranged by Audrey Akerman to create flexible options for young string ensembles. Pick-A-Part repertoire can be assigned to any combination of Violin, Viola, Cello and Double Bass to support duets, trios, quartets, quintets or ensembles.  Each score contains four parts for each instrument and the melody may be played by any instrument or string section. Each Pick-A-Part score also contains a teacher’s piano accompaniment as well as a simpler student accompaniment to encourage collaborative student learning. All parts are colour-coded and are designed to make string ensemble playing engaging and enjoyable for young musicians and to create flexible options for teachers and conductors..
