The Yamaha Alto/Tenor Horn YAH203S - Student model by Yamaha was designed in collaboration with acclaimed British soloists to offer an instrument of traditional warmth, precise intonation, and effortless playability. Absorbing the finer points from model 602 Horn, the YAH203 Tenor Horn is optimally crafted for student use, yet retains its hallmark characteristics.

The lead pipe has a long sweep and is attached to the bell with a lightweight brace for less resistance and easy playability. 

All slides are all easy accessible, to help prevent unnecessary dents and damage.

The YAH-203 is also lightweight, mitigating fatigue for junior players during longer rehearsals. 

The Yamaha YAH-203S Student Tenor Horn features include:

  • Valves: 3 top action 
  • Bell: 204.7mm (8") - smaller size for easier playability and less weight. 
  • Tall, compact wrap- easier to rest in the lap and see music for most players.
