This Fiberglass cajon has two playing surfaces, the traditional front faceplate and a padded cloth side playing surface. The padded side produces a Brazilian Surdo / “808” style bass tone. The bass port is positioned on the side opposite the padding for maximum projection when the padded side is played.

The padded side which is on the players right when seated, makes this cajon perfect for use with any cajon pedal.
