- 48A The 48 rim combined with a very shallow cup. For alto trombones. Bright tone with good volume. Similar to a Bach 6-1/2 rim, but with a shallower cup. Inner Diameter = 25.25mm. Contour = standard. Thickness = standard. Cut Depth = shallow. Throat = 5.32mm. Backbone = semi-narrow.
- 48D Same rim as the 48 with a relatively deep cup. Rich low register with a soft tone. Similar to a Bach 6-1/2AL rim, but with a deeper cup. Inner Diameter = 25.25mm. Contour = standard. Thickness = standard. Cut Depth = semi-deep. Throat = 6.62mm. Backbone = semi-narrow.
