Inspired by a musical mobile hanging in a nursery, Cradle Song captures elements of "Beautiful Dreamer" by Stephen C. Foster. Opening opportunities for the ensemble to explore inter-weaving lyrical lines and musical phrasing, Cradle Song is a gentle lullaby for the soon to be sleeping. Cradle Song was written for the students of Mary MacKillop College (Nundah) for their performance at the Queensland Catholic Music Festival.
