All versions have large channel openings and a projecting mouthpiece to facilitate learning to play single notes, as well as stylishly retro stainless steel covers. If you’re completely new to the world of the chromatic harmonica and want to find out if it’s for you, choose the smaller Chrometta 8 or 10. If you already have a little experience and are seriously interested in learning to play, we recommend the Chrometta 12 or 14.
On the Chrometta 10 harmonica, the 2 additional channels extend the tonal range downwards as far as G3, which is the lowest note found on the violin.
On the Chrometta 8 harmonica, you have two full chromatic octaves to play with, in a small compact size.
Explore the exciting world of chromatic harmonica with the Chrometta 12, the first in this series to offer the full three octave range of our more expensive models. It’s the perfect entry level instrument for the advanced student who really wants to get to grips with the chromatic harmonica.
The largest of the Chrometta Series, the 14 is the model has the same tonal range as a violin, making it possible to play many classical pieces which require a greater range than that of the 3 octave chromatic. It’s great for ambitious beginners who want to stretch out and expand their musical boundaries.
