Overture Grandioso was composed to commemorate Mansfield State High School's 50th anniversary. Premiered by the school's Wind Orchestra at the 2024 Anniversary Showcase, the work embodies the excitement and pride of this milestone celebration. With its bright fanfare motifs, energetic rhythms, and sweeping melodic lines, Overture Grandioso captures a spirit of joy, reflection, and community—honouring both the school's rich history and its vibrant future. Overture Grandioso was awarded first prize of the 2023 Australian Women's Wind Band Award High School Composer section.
