This four movement work was commissioned by four primary schools from Sydney's Northern Beaches, each movement represents an area of the "Beaches". "Forest" describes the exciting journey getting to the beach, "Lagoon" represents Narrabeen Lake, with it's subtle wavering water and light winds, "Ferry" is based on Manly's favourite mode of public transport, and "Beach" is a fun 'mostly' march style conveying the festivities of the beach in Summer with some quirky 'beach' quotes. A great choice for a concert or festival.
