Epiphone

Founded in Nashville, Tennessee in 1873, Epiphone Guitars is a manufacturer rich with history. Over time the company forged a reputation as a builder of quality instruments. Initially considered Gibson’s primary competition in the archtop and bluegrass market until they were bought out by Gibson in 1957.

Epiphone Guitars have been seen and heard in the hands of professionals and students alike. They were made famous through their use by John Lennon and George Harrison, and continue to be used by more recent acts like Gary Clark Jr, Vampire Weekend, The Strokes and Kings of Leon.
